Laser Lipo (often called Smart Lipo, or Laser Sculpturing) with aspiration is a highly effective, safe and minimally invasive procedure for the removal of small localised fat deposits; stubborn areas such as saddlebags, love handles, double chin, inner and outer thighs that often persist despite a sensible diet and exercise regime. In addition, the low level laser energy helps to stimulate collagen production which can result in a tightening of the skin.

The procedure is performed by introducing a fine fibre-optic probe under the skin which delivers low-level laser energy to the targeted area. This selectively breaks up fat cells transforming them into an oily substance, which is then immediately suctioned away (aspirated), similar to the methods used in liposuction. The removal of this liquefied fat continues naturally over the following 4-6 six months as these cells are absorbed by your body and naturally eliminated. The benefits of aspiration are two fold. More fat can be removed during the procedure than is achieved without aspiration and some of the anesthetic is also suctioned out of the body aiding the speed of the recovery process.
